Producers of the motion picture The Wind of Heaven will be the guests of Sir Elton John at his 25th Annual Academy Awards® party set to kick off today, Feb. 26 2017, at 4pm in West Hollywood, CA. Producers Trinity Houston, David Minasian and Martina Webster along with the film’s writer Stephen Savage will join many of Hollywood’s elite for the gala celebration as the Film Industry’s biggest night gets under way.
The Wind of Heaven tells the story of a returning veteran with PTSD and his journey to re-connect with his soul while endeavoring to save a group of wild horses. Lead actors for the dramatic film will be announced soon and there is already quite a buzz surrounding the project. Actress Irene Bedard, best known as the voice of Disney’s Pocahontas and Native American delegate to the United Nations, is heavily involved with the film as co-producer and actress. Roger Taylor, drummer for the band Queen, has agreed to to handle the film’s score. And Justin Hayward, singer/guitarist for legendary British rock pioneers The Moody Blues who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this summer with a national tour, has recorded the main theme for the film.
Co-written by Hayward and Minasian, The Wind of Heaven song was unveiled last year via a beautifully photographed music video produced and directed by the Houston/Minasian team. It is also the name of Hayward’s current solo tour which is winding its way through the eastern portion of the US. The Wind of Heaven film is being produced under Houston’s IM3 Global Entertainment banner which last year released the acclaimed Minasian-directed Justin Hayward: Live In Concert at the Capitol Theatre DVD.
All three of the film’s producers attended last year’s Oscar event, which benefits the Elton John AIDS foundation.
